Featured along the right shoreline is the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center and, to its left is the Wisconsin State Capitol building. To the far left is the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Camp Randall Stadium. Founded by James Duane Doty in 1836 in the newly created Territory of Wisconsin, Madison was named after President James Madison. Historically known for bio-tech and agriculture, Madison is paving the way for a new generation of emerging tech startups.
